A door swung open too hard is all it takes for a knob to punch a round hole through drywall. It’s a small repair, but getting it truly invisible takes the right backing, thin coats and a careful texture match, which is exactly what we do.
We square up the hole, install solid backing so the patch can take another bump, then tape, mud, sand and texture it to match the wall around it. While we’re there we can install a door stop so the wall stays fixed.
